Your Neighbor, Is My Neighbor, Is Our Neighbor.
Our Adopt-A-Neighbor program is the giving side of our services.
Since 2019, this program has allowed neighbors to help neighbors who are in need of items & support that we believe are key components in empowering women to rebuild, rediscover, and bloom into their full potential. This program supports women to rise from adversity into lives of strength, purpose, and wellness by providing the Basic Need Items that are the building blocks to better Education, Employment, Vocational, Housing, and Transportation logistics in their lives.
Some Basic Need Items cover day-to-day items such as clothing, shoes, linens, hygiene items, and baby items, while some Basic Need Items are more specific to families, such as household items.

Adopt-A-Neighbor: Ongoing Support
This is our main initiative. Our clients are everyday women who have specific needs as they transition and grow in their lives. The Adopt-A-Neighbor program fulfills specific Basic Necessity Items such as clothing, linens, hygiene items, baby items, cleaning supplies, and household items. Donations are needed year-round. In the winter, we select an agency to sponsor, and we host a supply drive for the people they serve. Outside of the winter months, we are using these donations to directly impact the Women/families we serve.
This winter 2025, we’re extending this initiative and hosting a supply drive for the Basin Dream Center. Read more about the Basin Dream Center Supply Drive details here.
Adopt-A-Peer: Transportation & Housing Assistance
Our Adopt-A-Peer program focuses on providing Housing and Transportation assistance. Safety is always our number one priority. Housing assistance could come in the form of Household Cleaning/Supplies, Monetarily for bills, Application Assistance and/or Loan Coaching/Credit Repair. Transportation is key for our Clients to get to/from work, trainings, grocery store, doctor, day care and more. Transportation assistance could come in the form of Bus Passes, Lyft/Uber Gift Cards and/or monetary assistance for small vehicle repairs/maintenance.
Adopt-A-Supply: Education, Employment and Vocational Assistance
Our Adopt-A-Supply-List focuses on providing Education, Employment, and Vocational assistance. Knowledge is power! Education assistance could come in the form of receiving necessary supplies, application assistance (GED/College), Internship opportunities and/or scholarships. Employment assistance could look like support for obtaining an ID, job search and application assistance, resume building, internship prep/coaching, stipends for work clothing/equipment and/or financial literacy education. Vocational assistance looks different for everyone! This typically comes in the form of growing in a specific field. After a variety of information is reviewed, we determine with the Client what skills they’re interested in building.
